Menir dos Almendres, situado a cerca de 1,5 km do cromeleque homónimo, na freguesia de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, concelho de Évora. Com cerca de 3,5 metros de altura, este monólito granítico foi erguido entre o Neolítico Médio e Final (c. 5000–3000 a.C.), possivelmente com funções simbólicas ou de orientação territorial. A sua posição isolada e o formato alongado sugerem uma ligação visual ou ritual com o cromeleque próximo, reforçando a leitura do território como espaço sagrado e estruturado por alinhamentos. O menir apresenta vestígios de gravuras, incluindo uma possível figura circular, interpretada como representação solar ou cósmica. A imagem documenta um dos elementos mais emblemáticos da paisagem megalítica alentejana.

Menir dos Almendres, located about 1.5 km from the cromlech of the same name, in the parish of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, municipality of Évora. About 3.5 meters high, this granite monolith was erected between the Middle and Late Neolithic (c. 5000–3000 BC), possibly with symbolic or territorial orientation functions. Its isolated position and elongated shape suggest a visual or ritual connection with the nearby cromlech, reinforcing the interpretation of the territory as a sacred space structured by alignments. The menhir shows traces of engravings, including a possible circular figure, interpreted as a solar or cosmic representation. The image documents one of the most emblematic elements of the Alentejo megalithic landscape.
