Portus Delphini: a enseada histórica de Portofino
A imagem mostra o porto de Portofino, na Riviera da Ligúria, organizado em torno da pequena baía que serviu historicamente de abrigo a embarcações de pesca e de cabotagem no golfo de Tigullio. As fachadas altas e estreitas da Piazzetta, pintadas em ocres, rosas e amarelos, seguem a tradição cromática ligur, associada à identificação das casas a partir do mar e, em muitos casos, enriquecida com pintura trompe‑l’œil que simula pedra e molduras arquitetónicas. Em primeiro plano, o cais funciona hoje sobretudo como marina turística, acolhendo embarcações de recreio e iates que ilustram a reconversão económica da antiga aldeia piscatória num destino de turismo náutico e de estadia de curta duração. Na encosta, entre pinheiros, oliveiras e ciprestes, erguem‑se a igreja de San Martino e construções ligadas ao histórico sistema defensivo do promontório, integradas no Parque Natural Regional de Portofino, cujo regime de proteção acompanha também a Área Marinha Protegida, importante para o mergulho e para a conservação da biodiversidade costeira.
The image shows the port of Portofino, on the Ligurian Riviera, organized around the small bay that historically served as a shelter for fishing and coastal vessels in the Gulf of Tigullio. The tall, narrow facades of the Piazzetta, painted in ochre, pink, and yellow, follow the Ligurian chromatic tradition, associated with the identification of houses from the sea and, in many cases, enriched with trompe-l'œil painting that simulates stone and architectural moldings.
