O gnu-azul (Connochaetes taurinus), um antílope de grande porte originário das savanas africanas, é caracterizado pela sua pelagem cinzento-ardósia com riscas verticais escuras e pelos chifres curvados presentes em ambos os sexos. No Badoca Safari Park, no Alentejo, Portugal, este animal integra uma população de cerca de 500 espécimes selvagens de 45 espécies, distribuídas por 90 hectares. Os visitantes podem observar o gnu durante o safari aventura, um percurso de 45 minutos em tractores com reboques, onde coabita em liberdade com outras espécies africanas, como girafas, zebras, búfalos e avestruzes.
