O campanário renascentista da Igreja de Santa Maria em Viana, Navarra, ergue-se sobre a base gótica do templo construído entre 1250 e 1312. A torre, adicionada entre 1584 e 1593, ostentava um campanário moderno desde a sua reconstrução após um incêndio em 1954. A foto é de 2016, um restauro recente, concluído em fevereiro de 2024, focou-se na recuperação da parte superior, incluindo dos quatro sinos numa oficina especializada em Palencia, reinstalados em outubro de 2023. Um elemento distintivo é o gradeamento metálico que protege os vãos dos sinos, crucial para impedir a entrada de aves, mas garantem a ventilação e a projeção sonora.
