Este trecho do Caminho Francês de Santiago, um percurso milenar percorrido por peregrinos, é conhecido pela sua exposição, apresentando cerca de 20 quilómetros através de terrenos abertos e poucas sombras, tornando a caminhada exigente, especialmente sob o calor intenso do verão. Ao longo do caminho, pequenos relevos cobertos de vegetação e manchas de arvoredo contrastam com os restolhos dourados no solo, criando um mosaico de texturas.

The rural landscape of Arroyo Salado, located between Villamayor de Monjardín and Los Arcos in Navarra, reflects the region's agricultural tradition, with recently harvested cereal fields, mainly wheat and barley, characteristic of rainfed cultivation. This stretch of the French Way of St. James, an ancient route traveled by pilgrims, is known for its exposure, featuring about 20 kilometers of open terrain and little shade, making the walk demanding, especially in the intense summer heat. Along the way, small vegetation-covered reliefs and patches of trees contrast with the golden stubble on the ground, creating a mosaic of textures.
