A Rua dos Pescadores, em Jovim, Gondomar, preserva vestígios notáveis do seu passado senhorial. Fragmentos de arcos em cantaria, outrora elementos de ligação entre o solar da Casa da Quinta de Atães e as suas dependências do outro lado da rua, ainda se podem observar, embora parcialmente cobertos por vegetação. Estas passagens elevadas, típicas das quintas ribeirinhas do Douro, permitiam a continuidade funcional dos complexos habitacionais e produtivos que se estendiam por ambos os lados da via pública. Os arcos testemunham a organização arquitetónica e a importância da atividade rural e senhorial na freguesia, outrora marcada pela pesca, agricultura e pela travessia do Douro, mantendo viva a memória da sua história.

Rua dos Pescadores, in Jovim, Gondomar, preserves remarkable vestiges of its noble past. Fragments of stone arches, once connecting elements between the manor house of Casa da Quinta de Atães and its outbuildings on the other side of the street, can still be seen, although partially covered by vegetation. These elevated passages, typical of the riverside estates of the Douro, allowed the functional continuity of the housing and productive complexes that extended on both sides of the public road. The arches bear witness to the architectural organization and the importance of rural and seigneurial activity in the parish, once marked by fishing, agriculture and the crossing of the Douro, keeping the memory of its history alive.
