Lille Lungegårdsvannet is an octagonal urban lake located in the center of Bergen, Norway, created in the 19th century from the landfill of a natural bay. Covering approximately 5 acres, the lake maintains an underground connection to Store Lungegårdsvannet Bay, allowing for variations in water levels. It is surrounded by gardens, footpaths, and cultural buildings, including KODE, one of the country's leading art museums, which houses works ranging from Romanticism to contemporary art. The green space also serves as an important leisure and event venue in the city, integrating into Bergen's network of urban parks.
