Vista matinal sobre o rio Vez, junto à Praia Fluvial da Valeta, em Arcos de Valdevez, onde a tranquilidade das suas águas reflete a vegetação e as estruturas urbanas circundantes. Em destaque, uma ponte pedonal estabelece a ligação entre a zona urbana e o parque da Valeta, um espaço público com percursos pedestres e áreas verdes. Ao fundo, destaca-se o edifício das Piscinas Municipais, inaugurado no início do século XXI, que é um importante centro de lazer e desporto na região, inserindo-se no complexo desportivo e de lazer na margem direita do rio. O rio Vez, afluente do Lima, tem origem na serra da Peneda e, historicamente, desempenhou um papel crucial na economia local, nomeadamente na agricultura de regadio e no funcionamento de azenhas. Este local também faz parte da Ecovia do Vez, promovendo caminhadas e o contacto com a natureza, valorizando o património natural e cultural do norte de Portugal, tornando-se um espaço ideal para atividades recreativas e relaxamento.

The River Vez, a tributary of the Lima, originates in the Peneda mountain range and historically played a crucial role in the local economy, namely in irrigated agriculture and the operation of watermills. This site is also part of the Vez Ecovia, promoting walks and contact with nature, enhancing the natural and cultural heritage of northern Portugal, making it an ideal place for recreational activities and relaxation.
