A Ribeira da Sertã, afluente do rio Zêzere, serpenteia pelo centro da vila da Sertã (distrito de Castelo Branco, região Centro), ligando o Jardim da Carvalha (à direita, integrado na principal alameda, com ciclovia, zonas relvadas e áreas de caminhada) ao Jardim da Serrada (à esquerda). Nascida na serra de Alvelos (concelho de Oleiros), a ribeira atravessa a vila antes de desaguar no Zêzere. Pontões e passadiços de madeira, resultado de requalificações urbanas (final do século XX e início do XXI), permitem o acesso público às margens, promovendo o convívio e o contacto com a natureza.

The Sertã Stream, a tributary of the Zêzere River, winds through the center of the village of Sertã (district of Castelo Branco, central region), connecting the Carvalha Garden (on the right, integrated in the main avenue, with a bike path, lawns and walking areas) to the Serrada Garden (on the left). Born in the Alvelos mountain range (municipality of Oleiros), the stream crosses the village before flowing into the Zêzere River. Pontoons and wooden walkways, the result of urban renewal (late 20th and early 21st centuries), allow public access to the riverbanks, promoting socializing and contact with nature.
